Freedom From Smoking:

    Freedom from Smoking is an 8-session group quit smoking program for adults (ages 18 and up). To register, contact the American Lung Association at 1-800-LUNG-USA.
Freshstart:
    Freshstart is a 4-session group quit smoking program for adults. To register or become a facilitator, contact the American Cancer Society at 1-800-639-1888.
The NH Smoker's Helpline
    The NH Smoker's Helpline provides free counseling by telephone to all NH residents.

Try-To-Stop Tobacco Resource Center:

    The trytostop.org website provides tobacco information, quit smoking assistance, and related links. This is a user-friendly tool for tobacco users who want to quit on their own. Log onto www.trytostop.org
N-O-T (Not On Tobacco):
    NOT is a 10-session group quit smoking program for high school students. The program uses a life management skills approach to teach teens how to stop smoking successfully. For program availability at your school, contact the American Lung Association at 1-800-LUNG-USA.
One-on-One Counseling:
    A smoking cessation program for both adults and youth. Sessions are held with a health educator who works with the individual on a one-on-one basis to help them quit smoking. Contact the American Lung Association at 1-800-LUNG-USA for more information.
Smoking Cessation Resources for Health Care Providers

Make Yours a Fresh Start Family:

    A program dedicated to reducing smoking rates among pregnant women and mothers of young children. The training features a 5-step approach to identify and counsel smokers to quit. Contact the American Cancer Society at 1-800-639-1888 for more information.
Smoking Cessation for Women of Reproductive Age:
    Two-part, on site Lunch and Learn workshop designed for health care providers to deliver best-practice tobacco treatment to women of reproductive age. For more information, contact Northern NH AHEC at 603-837-2519.
