elimination of exposure to secondhand smoke

Exposure to secondhand smoke is harmful to the health of children and adults. The North Country Health Consortium’s Tobacco Prevention and Control Program secondhand smoke initiatives address this issue through the following programs:

  • Take It Outside Campaign
A pledge to provide a smoke free environment for loved ones to protect them from the dangers of secondhand smoke in the home and vehicle.
  • Tobacco Free Norms and Environments
Eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke by creating clean indoor air environments in workplaces, public spaces, and private spaces within local communities. For a free worksite kit, contact Laura Remick by email at lremick@nchcnh.org or by phone at 603-444-4461 ext. 222.
